Activities
We have at least one activity for everyone ranging from card and board games, dancing, crafting, exercise, and so many more.
Our activities begin as early as 8:30am and end around 5pm. We do offer a few evening and weekend activities. On occasion we take destination day trips that are enjoyable for everyone! To find out more information on the activities and trips check out the newsletter.
Nutrition
At the core of our service are nutritious meals, companionship and a watchful eye on the health and safety of our Finney County seniors. We offer two nutrition services: For those who have trouble getting around, we bring the service to you as part of our Meals on Wheels. For those who can still venture out, Friendship Meals are served Monday through Friday at 12:00/noon, at our Senior Center by the lovely staff members and volunteers. RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program)
Finney County RSVP, Inc. Board of Directors is the sponsor for Finney County RSVP, Inc. Our program was founded in 1975 to promote volunteerism for individuals 55 years of age and over. The program continues to be a vital part of the community providing services to non-profit, public & health agencies. We strongly abide by our mission statement: "To strengthen & form partnerships in the community, providing a pool of volunteer resources that address crucial needs. Enabling individuals 55 years of age and older to remain active in their community through meaningful service." Finney County RSVP makes their home inside the walls of our senior center.
